Ian’s diving journey began in 1998 when he completed his PADI Open Water certification. Driven by a deep passion for the underwater world, he turned his ambition into a professional career, becoming a PADI Divemaster in 2010 and reaching the pinnacle of PADI professional training as a PADI Technical Course Director in 2018.

While Ian has dived extensively across the globe, his heart—and his favourite diving—remains right here in the UK.

At the cutting edge of modern diving, Ian is a PADI Tec Trimix Instructor Trainer, and an active Rebreather Diver.

He is an IDEST Cylinder Tester and Trainer, as well as being a Regulator Service Technician and runs IDEST Ltd. regulator and compressor servicing courses.

He holds an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate and VHF Radio qualification, so can skipper the RIB in his quiet time!
