Paul Nealis
Passing my open water in September 2020 opened the gates into a new adventure and hobby.
Been searching for lost pirate treasure and mermaids ever since.
With no sign of either, I've decided to take on the challenge of becoming a Divemaster.
Hayley Desmond
Hayley qualified as an open water diver in 2018 and since then it’s been hard to get her out of the water.
Hayley fell in with a boatload of technical divers who quickly helped her pursue deep technical dives on trimix and eventually she ended up on a rebreather.
Since helping out at the pool Hayley decided to further her diving skills and take on the Divemaster challenge.
When Hayley isn’t in the water you will find her Hustling people in the pub at the pool table.
Simon Clarke
Water has been a major passion in my life since I was a young lad. Back then it gave me 10 years of competitive swimming, where I competed across the country alongside some lifelong friends. It was no surprise to anyone that my first dive experience in Malta back in 2007 sparked something deep inside me, and I have been hooked ever since.
Life did get in the way, giving me two wonderful kids - my son who also loves the water - and my daughter who isn't as keen - and a career that lead me to the amazing family at Poole Diving Centre.
For me, Diving is Freedom. It doesn't matter how bad your day has been, how hard life may have become, or how stressed and overwhelmed you feel... you gear up, get in the water, and everything is amazing. It's a feeling that is hard to explain until you're under the waves experiencing pure bliss.
Vicki Dominguez-almela
Vicky qualified as Open Water diver back in 2008 while studying her science degree in Spain.
She started her diving journey in the UK with Poole Diving in 2021 and, since then, has not stopped learning new skills with PADI courses and specialities.
